In Bhopal, a man killed his wife and hid her body inside a fort in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh. The victim, Shivangi, was identified as the wife of Rishiraj Singh. Four days after she went missing, her body was discovered in Dhamoni fort, following a search by police prompted by a missing persons report from her family. Police suspected Rishiraj's involvement, and he confessed to strangling his wife and concealing her body inside the fort. Reports indicate that Shivangi and Rishiraj had visited the fort together on September 13, but only Rishiraj returned home. Her disappearance led to a missing person report being filed by her family with the Madavara police. The investigation pointed to Rishiraj, who eventually admitted to the murder, citing jealousy stemming from an extramarital affair as the motive. Rishiraj has been arrested and is in custody while police continue their investigation to gather more evidence.
